ORS-1000 Air Bearing Optical Radius Slide

High Accuracy Linear Straightness -- 1 Meter Travel!

ABTech, Inc's precision air bearing linear slides offer a high accuracy solution to the most demanding optical radius inspection applications. The fully captured air bearing carriage offers friction free motion while the natural granite rail provides a stable and straight guide way.

The top surface of the moving carriage is a precision ground nickel plated steel platform with 1/4-20UNC-2B tapped holes located on 1.00" centers to accommodate magnetic stands or optical mounts.

The optical radius slide has a fine adjustment feature that incorporates a 40 pitch screw with worm gear and hand wheel that allows for precise movements below 1µm steps.

A Heidenhain glass scale completes the stage providing position feedback to the operators digital read out display.
