Elizabeth M. Hoekstra, a former RN, founded Direct Path Ministries in 1997 to encourage women and families in their faith-walks. Elizabeth's prayer is that people who read her work or hear her speak will grow into a deeper confidence in who they are as followers and servants of Jesus Christ. Elizabeth, author of nine books, was the recipient of the "2000 Write-to-Publish Writer of the Year Award" for her book, Be Still. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband of 17 years, Peter, and their two children.
