Programmable Servo Motor Control & Brushless DC Amplifier

ABTech, Inc. offers a programmable digital servo motor control and brushless DC amplifier in one complete package. This modular design gives the end user flexible motion control from simple command signal input to complicated single axis closed loop operations. Options available such as RS 232, D.R.O.'s and operator interfaces.

Available with velocity or position display. Selectable motor/control tuning parameters. Mix and match any combination of steps, tuning parameters, or position/velocity comands for each of 16 presets.

The digital controller was designed specifically to work with ABTech's Ultra-precision air bearing rotary tables, spindles and linear slide family of products.

  • Command sources:
    - Analog +/-10V inputs
    - Digital PLS/DIR, CW/CCW
    - Digital Presets
    - Data RS-232, RS-485
    - Electronic Gearing
  • DSP controlled torque, velocity or position mode using only encoder feedback
  • Select up to 16 preset modes using PLC, logic Hi/Lo line or switch
  • Trapezoidal and S-curve motion profiles
  • No transformers required! Operates directly from AC mains with full optical isolation between signal and power stages (32-132VAC or 32-264VAC)
  • Fault protections:
    - Short-circuits from outputs, outputs to gnd
    - Over/under voltage
    - Over temperature
    - Self-reset or latch off
  • Low air supply inhibit run protection
  • E-Stop switch
  • External fault indicator light and reset
